Unsupported claim
"Studies have shown" — which studies? Specify or remove.
Strong evidence
Specific dataset, named source, real numbers. This is what good evidence looks like.
Concession without engagement
You name the counter-argument but dismiss it. Engage with the strongest version of it.
Reader assumption
Define what you mean by "productivity" — readers will infer the wrong thing.
Overstated
"Always" is a stronger claim than the evidence supports.

WHAT YOU GET

Rigorous analysis. Structured coaching. Measurable progress.

What you just saw, in three ideas.

i.
Rigorous analysis
Every dimension of your writing examined — sentence craft, structural integrity, voice, idea development. Every observation grounded in your actual sentences, not generic AI commentary. Nothing vague, nothing made up.
ii.
Structured coaching
Two specific priorities every submission. Praise anchored in your strongest sentences. Concrete actions you can apply to your next draft. Built to teach you what to do next — not just to grade what you've already written.
iii.
Measurable progress
Skill-by-skill trends across every submission. Recurring mistakes tracked and resolved. A clear answer to the question every student asks: "am I actually getting better?" — answered in numbers, not feelings.

FAQ

Honest answers.

How is this different from using ChatGPT or Claude directly?

A general-purpose model gives you a paragraph of feedback and forgets you exist. WriteTut runs a multi-stage analysis specifically tuned for writing assessment, produces auditable banded scores, tracks progress across submissions, and routes feedback through a teacher-supervised review process. Different tool, different purpose.

What does "teacher oversight" actually mean?

A qualified teacher reviews the AI's output before you see it — adjusting scores, refining feedback, suppressing anything off-base. Most submissions pass through this review. In some cases (high volume periods, specific configurations), feedback may be auto-released. We're upfront about this rather than promising 100% review.

What happens when I run out of free tokens?

You can top up with pay-as-you-go tokens at any time, or switch to Premium for a generous monthly allowance plus deeper analytical features. Free tokens reset every month — you don't lose your progress, just your unused allowance.

Can I use my school's or teacher's own marking criteria?

Yes. Upload the rubric your teacher actually uses, and WriteTut will mark against it. This is the recommended path for school assignments, since the feedback maps directly to how you'll be graded.

Is my work private?

Yes. Your submissions and analytics are visible only to you and any teacher reviewing your work. WriteTut does not train AI models on student writing.

When does Pro launch?

Pro is in active development as the next layer above Premium — adaptive practice plans, a personal mistake notebook, and tutor-style writing exercises drawn from your own work. Premium subscribers will get early access at launch and locked-in launch pricing.
